Marvel vs. Capcom 3: Shadow Mode

Marvel vs. Capcom 3 isn't on store shelves yet, but downloadable content for it has already been revealed. Today, Capcom revealed Shadow Mode -- additional content that allows players to compete against special computer opponents modeled after the game's creators.

Shadow Mode provides customized AI teams that are meant to replicate the behaviors and styles of famous players. The first shadow opponents will be based on Marvel vs. Capcom 3 Producer Ryota Niitsuma and Assistant Producer Akihito Kadowaki. Capcom notes that more downloadable packs will be available in the future that will mimic other famous players in the competitive landscape.

Marvel vs. Capcom 3 is scheduled to launch on February 15th in the United States for the Xbox 360 and PS3.

I'm sure, like everyone else, you cannot wait to see Jill and Shuma in motion in Marvel vs Capcom 3. While we don't yet have video, we do finally have official screenshots of the two. Shuma looks absolutely awesome.
